Sweet Dreams Are Made of This - Raindance: Drome / SeOne

Issue 3

This third publication from Cult to Culture Press continues our ongoing exploration of UK rave culture. In this issue, we turn our attention to the legendary Raindance residency at The Drome / SeOne - a defining chapter in London nightlife history from 1999 to 2010.

Hidden beneath the old London Bridge Station, a vast network of cavernous railway arches became home to some of the most influential underground events of the era. Across an 11-year residency, Raindance transformed the 30,000 square foot maze into a destination for ravers travelling from across the country to lose themselves in the music.

Featuring photographs, flyers and rare ephemera from approximately forty events, this publication documents the evolution of the venue through its many incarnations - from The Drome to SeOne and finally Debut - widely regarded as one of London’s greatest ever rave spaces.
